Minis & Co., Inc. was founded in 1932 by Abram Minis, Jr. and is the oldest SEC registered investment advisory firm in the Southeast. In the 1970's, the firm was acquired by Russell W. Carpenter and O. Thompson Smith. Located in Savannah, Georgia, the firm manages investments for clients nationwide. From its founding, the firm has served its clients by tailoring investment portfolios to meet each client's specific financial needs.
Since its inception, Minis & Co., Inc. has been committed to giving each client the highest level of service. This focus has allowed the company to successfully retain and consistently grow its client base and assets under management. The company currently manages balanced, all-equity and fixed income accounts for its clients. Clients include individuals, corporations, pension and profit sharing plans, trusts and charitable organizations. Our income is derived solely from the fees paid to us by our clients for investment management services.
Most of
the firm's investment professionals have earned advanced degrees in finance and
have been designated as Chartered Financial Analysts. Minis & Co.,
Inc.'s investment team has more than eight decades of combined experience in
both securities research and the discretionary management of individual and
institutional portfolios.
